Does Respite work on Android?
No. Respite is built natively for iOS (16 and later) using Apple's Screen Time APIs, which don't work reliably through a cross-platform bridge.
Is this a parental control app?
No. Respite is designed for individuals managing their own device — not for monitoring or restricting someone else's phone. Lending out your device? For example to your kids — you can restrict certain apps for them. If they're using it to study, you can temporarily disable games.
What happens to my data?
Nothing leaves your device. Respite has no server, no account, and no analytics — your schedules and app selections are stored locally, only.
What if I cancel Unlimited?
You keep 1 schedule free, forever, and app groups stay unlimited and free. Cancelling just removes access to additional schedules.
Is there a limit to how many apps can be blocked?
There's no limit — you can block individual apps, app categories, a combination of both, or all apps.
